When the Marzano Family purchased this small parcel of land at the corner of Nashville Road and Highway 27 in the village of Kleinburg, all it had was a small colonial farmhouse that was situated in what is arguably one of the most scenic pockets of this area. This beautiful property was too special not to share with the community and the thought of opening a school was always a dream of theirs. As such the Montessori School in Kleinburg (MSK) opened its doors in 2002 and Enza Marzano-Kooner was honourably appointed Principal and Assistant-Principal Kooner joining in 2017. Together, they make a program that offers academic excellence under the pedagogy of Maria Montessori — a method of education they passionately believe in.
Creating the MSK you see today is no easy feat. A lot of hard work, determination and love is what enables MSK to remain a beautiful, modern and bustling school. MSK provides programming for toddler-ages to grade eight and is continuously growing and expanding while paying homage to that quaint farmhouse by offering a premier education in a peaceful and scenic environment.
The principles of the Montessori method seep into all areas of our school community and we are proud to be a fully accredited Montessori school. Although academic excellence is the key priority at MSK, our students will reach their goals while learning about independence and being respectful of themselves and the world around them. We are proud of the work we do each and every day and that is clearly reflected in the success of our well-rounded students and alumni.
It truly is an honour and privilege to be able to present MSK to our community. We are a small school that has a big heart and our success each and every day is a testament to that. MSK is such a special place and we look forward to the exciting years ahead as we grow.
Yours Sincerely,
