When a child reaches the intermediate grades at MSK, they will be immersed in continued hands on, project based learning. Ministry curriculum is taught in an engaging, student led and teacher monitored direction. Through discussions, differentiated learning activities and meaningful assignments to foster a thorough understanding of the Intermediate curriculum the intermediate child gains a solid foundation for the highschool years. Students are encouraged to collaborate their learning ideas, and present their findings in unique ways. Various forms of assessments are conducted to ensure a thorough understanding of content. MSK prepares the Intermediate student for the highschool years through dynamic instruction, often surpassing Ministry expectations.
