Gerald and Stephano now have over 600 students at the Mwashota Montessori School.
Although the work burden is heavy, they managed to ensure that the grade 4 students performed better on the national exams in 2020 than the students from the government primary school in the neighbouring communities of Madundas and Msanga. They also have their first Grade 7 students writing the national exams this year.
They are both actively involved in all aspects of community life in Mwashota. Stephano is also our Mobile Library Facilitator for the communities of Mwashota and Lyankunda and Gerald is our Complete Community Care Worker for Mwashota.
